Learn how to deal with your emotional and mental triggers. We’ll talk about what they are and what it means to be triggered and how to deal. Recognizing when you are triggered is the first step. An emotional trigger is any topic that makes us feel uncomfortable.
Some strong physical and emotional responses include:
Anxiety, stomach upset, pounding heart, shakiness, sweating, feeling cold or hot, feeling numb, feeling angry or charged, or just simply, uncomfortable.
Common situations that often create an emotional trigger:
- rejection
- betrayal
- unjust treatment
- challenged beliefs
- helplessness or loss of control
- being excluded or ignored
- disapproval or criticism
- feeling unwanted or unneeded
- feeling smothered or too needed
- insecurity
- loss of independence
There will be a step by step guide, a group healing and a practical run through of one of your triggers. We won’t just talk about doing the work, we will do the work.
